Well, It’s been a little rough at times, but I think I got the site functioning pretty well!

There are some new features:

  • Facebook integration with blogs.
  • twitter, last.fm,  flickr, and Youtube integration with the microblog “Activity”.
  • Each user gets their own WordPress blog and subdomain (yourblog.clog-dancing.net).
  • There is a pretty advanced events system for all those classes, competitions, exhibitions, b-day parties, etc!
  • “Friends” capabilities. What’s a social site without following your friends?
  • The ability to create Groups.
  • Forums for each group!
  • Photo albums for all those photos!

Unfortunatly, I can only provide 15mb per person for uploads. Flickr is probably a better option than hosting it here.

I will be setting up new functionality as it comes available.

Next on the list:

Get a new design going!

  1. I hope we can get interested cloggers to participate. I for one would like to know that there is a group of people who is available to help me with my clogging questions. Does your group do competition dancing or just for fun?

    • I’m currently not involved with a group, but when I was we most certainly did go to competitions. I was apart of Top of Texas Cloggers and the instructors’ name was Allen Zion. It’s been many years since then, and I’ve danced with a few other groups since then, but those were the glory days!

I think if I can get back to clogging again, I will probably just go to workshops and dance for the fun of it. I’m not sure I could compete with all the instructors in my age category.

By the way, this is my personal account, I have a separate admin account to take care of the heavy lifting on the site.
